{"id":1379,"date":"2025-11-10T18:20:32","date_gmt":"2025-11-10T18:20:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinw.ca\/?page_id=1379"},"modified":"2026-05-25T18:39:56","modified_gmt":"2026-05-25T18:39:56","slug":"eligibility-and-admission","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/csinw.ca\/?page_id=1379","title":{"rendered":"Eligibility And Admission"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Attendant Services\/Supportive Housing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>&nbsp;individuals with varying degrees of physical disabilities over the age of 16 years.<\/li><li>&nbsp;individuals with physical disabilities living in institutions now by no choice of their own, who have residence in the Kenora or Rainy River District who are seeking<br>independent living.<\/li><li>individuals living with families who require some attendant assistance<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Assisted Living Services for Seniors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>&nbsp;individuals 60 years of age and over who require access to 24 hour services<\/li><li>&nbsp;individuals who can remain safely at home between visits and not require<br>immediate or 24 hour availability of nursing care or other professional services<\/li><li>individuals who are not on a waiting list for a Long Term Care Home.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Admission<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Individuals who are interested in applying for services must complete an application. The consumer, family member or other parties may make a referral to the program. An<br>interview will then be arranged with the program coordinator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications are reviewed and approved by the Admissions Selection Committee. The<br>Admissions Committee is comprised of Board members, administrative staff and<br>consumers.
